(The Chinese say you can recognize spirit-inhabited trees by tickling them. If the tree giggles-wiggles its branches and leaves, as in an unseen breeze, then well, somebody lives there. I don't know how the Amazonian natives feel and if the dancing around the tree from last post is a form of expression or the execution of an order. As a child, I remember, legendary trees were always measured by how many men it took to embrace them. 25 men for that baobab. Come to think of it there was a redwood in my first love's garden, but I only knew of it much much later)
