crooked smile lost sunday

often lips are flowers. but what blossom exactly?  she knew many names of many flowers but for that mouth no name which would yield a shape could be right. maybe a color and a bit of winter already, of autumn at least at the corners.

the first image is a neurone drawn by the neurobiologist Santiago Ramón y Cajal (1852-1934) who won a Nobel Prize and wrote fantasy short stories under the wonderful pseudonym of Dr. Bacteria.
