perdition

Yesterday i wrote the 3 lines under the blogs name.
Today i got unsure and checked perdition. (which for me meant heavy loss, with a subtext of intentional wrecking of one's own ships. "When one burns one's boats, what a very nice fire it makes" writes Dylan Thomas in a screenplay about Jekill & Hide, that's the perdition i meant.
But what perdition primarily means, says the free online dictionnary, is
"a. Loss of the soul; eternal damnation."
Of the soul!!!

after a bit of thinking, i left it standing.
